SAYULITA is an easy 40 min coastal bus ride north of Puerto Vallarta and just 20 pesos will take you there from the airport. The bus will drop you off in the centre of town at the rivers bridge next to the town's outdoor stadium, and from here it is a short 5 minute walk to Casa Dulces Sueños in the Tamarindo area of Sayulita. Known for its rustic charm and artisan community, Sayulita is also one of the best places to surf on the westcoast of Mexico and hosts annual Surf Competitions.
From Playa Principal there are rental companies where you can pick up a body board and charter a fishing or diving expedition. The village itself is surrounded with jungle covered hills and smaller towns to the North. Like most Mexican towns the Plaza is the centre of the village and is the perfect place to have breakfast and watch the Huichol Native Artisans make their traditional arts making ornate beaded jewellery and colourful threaded dream panels. The Plaza is also the local hang out after sunset for families and is a great place to listen and practice Spanish as it travels well on the nights tropical breeze.

Location
The property is situated in Sayulita, a Mexican village nestled in a small bay between 2 sandy beaches, Playa Principal and Los Meurtos. Casa Dulces Suenos is an easy 6 minute walk from the beach. Los Muertos is a swimming beach and offers a quiet break from the well populated surfers beach, where cafes and local artisans offer tantalizing cuisine, baked goods and brightly coloured crafts. From here you can spend the entire day relaxing while watching surfers and marine life alike just beyond the oceans break.
Los Muertos's is named well for the beach lays at the end of the forest walk from town through the sacred village cemetery and is believed to be the place where the spirits pass through to ascend to heaven.
